Capabilities & Services

TDG has been intensely involved with developing and implementing such codes and standards worldwide, including substantial involvement in the development of ASHRAE Standard 90. We have strong capabilities with all technical and institutional aspects of such codes and standards, including:

• Comparisons of energy codes.
• Energy surveys of current building stock:
  • to provide a baseline for setting
  • to evaluate energy code impacts
• Parametric energy and economic analyses.
• Writing the energy code documents.
• Developing and accomplishing programs to implement the energy codes.
• Providing assistance for capacity-building, training, and technical transfer.

Also, we are leading efforts to incorporate into such codes some key advanced and sustainable technologies, such as daylighting and natural ventilation. This is evidenced by our recent efforts in Vietnam, Egypt, and India.
